We’re Serious About Security
Customer data is gold, and it’s our responsibility to safeguard your project assets against loss, theft, disclosure and unauthorized duplication. To support this responsibility, Bassett Direct has policies in place which govern staff, protect personal information and ensure secure treatment of physical inventory.
It begins with our hiring process. All employees are subject to a background security check and must sign a Privacy and Confidentiality Agreement before their first day of work.
Personal information makes Direct Marketing possible, and our in-house team of data programmers works with the latest technologies, all built around data security. These systems enable us to maintain control and ensure the integrity of all electronic data interchange.
Our systems also support industry best practices to meet or exceed our customers’ complex IT and data security policies. The data programming team makes it easy by providing the necessary documentation to confirm that data handling and storage is in compliance with the most stringent requirements.
Cash-value items are often distributed as part of a Direct Marketing campaign, ranging from discount offers and incentives to nationally-branded gift cards. Bassett Direct manages this inventory through card-based access to a secure storage cage.
Lastly, our 36,000 square foot Richmond Hill facility is monitored around the clock by a multi-camera video security system.
